Pet sitting booking record · Otherworld Labs · printed
Five things can be true of a visit in a booking and this page tells them apart: done as asked, short on care, short on time, not done, and a visit you made that was never booked. It records what the owner's intake asked for and what you did on each visit, then totals the booking - visits completed of booked, feedings and doses given of asked, time on site against time booked, and the amount due at your rate - with the working shown. Nothing you type leaves your browser.
Records what the owner asked for and what was done on each visit, and totals the booking: visits completed of booked, doses given of asked, time on site, and the amount due at your rate, with the working shown.
This page is arithmetic on figures you type. It gives no instruction about any medication, any dose, any time or any unwell animal, and it holds no default, no range, no typical dose and no schedule anywhere. It is not a waiver, a release, a cancellation policy, a contract, an authorisation to treat or an insurance document, and it says nothing about insurance, bonding, licensing or what any booking should cost. It records what the owner asked for and what you did, and stops.
This page records the owner's instruction and what you did. It gives no instruction of its own about medication, a dose, a time or an unwell animal beyond contacting the owner and the vet the owner named, and it is not a waiver, a release, a contract, an authorisation to treat or an insurance document.
The walkthrough is on. Each section says what its figures mean and who holds them. Turn it off at the top once you know your way around. The figures in the blanks are a worked booking so the page answers before you touch it; replace them with the ones on your own booking message. Type over any one of them and the rest of the worked booking empties itself and the visit cards go back to none, because a figure off this example standing in a tally with a figure off your own booking would be a total of neither booking; the page then prints what it is waiting for until you have filled the booking line and said how many visits you have a record for.
Seven figures, every one of them off the booking message or the owner's intake sheet, and none of them from anybody else. The two care counts are what the intake asks for in one visit, copied as the owner wrote them: this page has no view on what any animal should be given.

| Visits a day one unless you agreed more |
The doses figure is the count you entered, not a count read off the owner's words: this page never reads, checks or completes the medication text, and holds no dose, range, schedule or interval of its own. A dose is recorded given or not given, never adjusted, and a dose the record does not show as given is written down and told to the owner and to the vet the owner named.
One card per visit you have a record for. A field left blank counts as nothing given and nothing here is filled in for you: a blank minutes figure prints as no time recorded and a blank tick as not recorded, while a blank feedings or doses figure prints as none given of the count the intake asked for, and the page says how many visits leave a figure blank.
Kept one total for the booking instead of a per-visit record? Enter the booking totals here instead of the rows - visits completed, feedings given, doses given and minutes on site over the whole booking - and the page will total those against what the intake asked for and print the amount due, and will say that it cannot tell the five per-visit states apart or report the per-visit ticks from a booking total.

Every line is computed from the figures printed beside it. Counts are whole, money is worked to the cent, and a share is printed only where there is a whole for it to be a part of. A visit short on care is still a completed visit at the agreed rate: this page computes no deduction, no penalty and no refund, and a shortfall is yours and the owner's to discuss.
Doses: 9 recorded as given of the 10 the intake asked for. The record is 1 dose short of that total - the difference between the two figures above, and not a count of the doses nobody gave - and the shortfall is written down here and told to the owner and to the vet the owner named, which is the whole of what this page says about it.
On 1 visit the doses recorded are above the 1 the intake asks for a visit; each of those visits carries the note in the table and stays in whichever of the five states its care and its time put it in.
The in and out times gave the minutes on site on 1 of the 9 visits you recorded. A pair that crosses midnight is read as crossing midnight.
This arithmetic written out for anything that reads this page instead of looking at it: api.json beside this page carries every input, every output, the formula line by line, this worked booking, and a list of what the calculation deliberately leaves out.
One row per visit in the booking, in date order: the time on site against the time booked, the care given against the care the intake asked for, and which of the five the visit is. The order of precedence is fixed, so no visit falls into two: not booked, then not done, then short on care, then short on time, then done as asked.

The five counts add up to 10 visits, which is every visit in this booking: the 10 visits booked and any recorded past them.
The same tally again, on its own, to print or to photograph and send with the invoice. It is the figures this page computed and nothing else: no design to download, no template, no paw prints. Print the sheet and the rows print with it.
This page totals one booking and forgets it when you close the tab. What it cannot do is hold a client roster, a season of visits and a booking summary for every pet on the roster, which is the record that answers an owner who asks in March what you did in January.
